The HeliumSquare website uses “cookies” and other similar mechanisms (hereinafter, cookies). Cookies are files sent to a browser via a web server to record the user’s activities on a specific website or on all websites, applications and/or services on the HeliumSquare website (hereinafter, the Services). The purpose of cookies is to provide the user with faster access to selected services. In addition, cookies personalize the services offered by HeliumSquare Web by providing and offering each user information that is or may be of interest with respect to the use of the Services.

The HeliumSquare Web site uses cookies to personalize and facilitate the user’s navigation to the maximum. Cookies are only associated with an anonymous user and his/her computer and do not provide references that allow the user to deduce personal data. The user can configure his browser to inform and refuse the installation of Cookies sent by HeliumSquare Web, without affecting the ability of the user to access the content. However, we would like to point out that, in any case, the quality of operation of the website may decrease.

HeliumSquare Web also uses Web bugs, which are tiny transparent images embedded in e-mails. When the user opens the email, this image is downloaded along with the rest of the email content and can be used to track whether or not a specific email was opened and the IP address from which it was downloaded. The HeliumSquare website uses this information to obtain statistics and perform analytical studies on the reception of their e-mails by users.

Type, purpose and operation of cookies

Cookies, depending on their permanence in your browser or device, can be divided into session or permanent cookies. The first expires when the user closes the browser. The second expire when the purpose for which they serve is achieved (for example, so that the user remains identified in the HeliumSquare services) or when they are deleted manually.

In addition, depending on their purpose, Cookies can be classified as follows:

PERFORMANCE COOKIES: This type of cookie remembers your preferences for the Services’ tools, so that you do not need to reconfigure the service on each visit. For example, this type includes products stored in the “shopping cart”.

GEO LOCATION COOKIES: These cookies are used to find out what country you are in when a service is requested. This cookie is completely anonymous and is only used to help guide content based on your location.

REGISTRATION COOKIES: Registration cookies are generated once the user has registered or subsequently logged in. They are used to identify you in the Services in order to keep the user identified so that if a Service closes, the browser or computer and at another time or day you re-enter the Service, you will continue to be identified, making it easier for you to navigate without having to re-identify yourself. This feature can be removed if the user presses the “Exit” function, so that this Cookie is deleted and the next time the user enters the site, the user will have to log in to be identified.

In addition, some services may use connectors with social networks such as Facebook or Twitter. When the user registers in a service with the identifiers of a social network, he/she authorizes the social network to keep a persistent cookie memorizing his/her identity and guaranteeing access to the services until its expiration. The user can delete this cookie and revoke access to services via social networks by updating their preferences in the social network you specify.

ANALYTICAL COOKIES: Whenever a user visits a service, a tool provided by an external provider (Google Analytics and similar) will be used to identify the user.
